Where do I start? As I recall, the intro came to me while I was sitting at a piano one day with the record button on to my mp3 player. I liked it so much, I did a few takes of it. Later, I sat down in my studio and decided to start recording some instrumentation. After getting a good idea for the intro and first verse down, I saved it and walked away for a while. A few months later, I came back and reviewed it only to be overwhelmed with ideas for music, instrumentation, lyrics, arrangement and all. It just seemed to flow without stopping. I somehow finished the vocals and all before I had completely gotten over a long cold I was having at the time. I believe that the music, lyrics and all completely mirror my true feelings about life and trying to understand it. I hope someday I'll know all of the answers but as for now, I just "try to make it through to be with you".
