SONG INFO:
As some may know, I am constantly coming up with song ideas either on the piano, the guitar, in my mind, in the studio etc. What I usually like to do before deciding to fully record a song is to listen to a few of my best ideas until I get a feeling from one that motivates me enough to finish it before it drives me crazy. The tune to "Salt Lake City" is one of those songs. Initially, I wasn't sure if it was my "next big song" so to speak. It wasn't until the lyrical idea for the chorus came to me one day while I was listening to it very loud on the way to the store. It was then that I realized it was meant to be. The production side of it actually went very fast while the tweaking, mixing and mastering was kind of a work in progress for a while. Then finally one day I was listening to a mastered version of it (again in the car) and I finally realized that it was done.
