The piano tune at the beginning of "Forever" originally came to me in response to a listing I saw on Taxi Music. They were looking for a 30 second music clip to go with a laundry commercial that they needed done within just a few days. After some thought, I sat down in my studio and came up with an instrumental that I thought would match. I submitted it to them the next day and soon received a forward on it. It seemed promising at first, but nothing really panned out from it. Later, I reviewed the song and felt a much deeper connection to it than what I had first realized. I couldn't stop working on it. Before long, I had created the chorus, finished all of the instrumentation and finalized all of the lyrics. Then came the next stage, mixing and mastering it over and over to get the true sound of what I had envisioned. After putting even more time, effort and feeling into it, the "Forever" you hear now in the Ep "Shine" is the final result of my final vision for the song. Hope you like it!
